Jake Zwaagstra founded TriCelta Development with a vision of providing superior service to project owners. A proven leader in the hospitality industry, Jake draws on over twenty years of design-build experience to articulate and realize his clients’ visions. His commitment to transparency, efficiency, and integrity ensures the timely delivery of projects while maximizing savings and quality.
Jake adopted an unshakeable work ethic and an entrepreneurial drive at a young age, spending his adolescence working on his family’s dairy farm with his father and grandfather. After studying economics and business at the University of Arizona, Jake discovered his calling by learning how buildings come together. He began his professional career as a general contractor before finding his niche as an owner’s representative, a role which enables him to be the best advocate for his clients.
Jake’s portfolio encompasses over five billion dollars in projects completed under his direct management, including iconic resorts such as the Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, OK; The Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino in Las Vegas; and the Signature at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Outside of work, Jake is an active volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club and enjoys spending time in nature with his wife and two sons.
